International guitarist Derek Gripper has produced some of South Africa’s most extraordinary music with his unique ability to interpret complex compositions played with the Kora — a 21-stringed traditional West African lute for solo guitar. The result is nothing short of extraordinary. Drawing on traditions from European Classical to avant-garde Brazilian works. Gripper fuses these diverse approaches seamlessly and makes them his own.

Joining Derek will be classical guitarists Harold Gretton, Jeff Donovan and Abel Lawson. Performing at the Wagga Wagga Art Gallery this is a must to see for guitar music lovers!
