the RCM strings and guitar department

The RCM Strings and Guitar Department consists of a dedicated team of professional musicians and educators. Each member of the department brings a unique range skills ranging from expertise in young beginners to adult learners. 

Committed performers, all of the RCM String and Guitar staff appear regularly as performers locally, nationally and internationally. RCM students have access to world class facilities and performance opportunities.

There are also ensemble opportunities for every student with classical guitar ensembles, junior string ensembles, community strings, rock bands and the Riverina Youth Orchestra for more advanced students.

• Little Fiddlers - violin (4years Pre-School)

• Primo Strings - violin/viola/cello (AMEB Prelim - Grade 1)

• Junior Strings - violin/viola/cello (AMEB Grade 1 - 2)

• Stringendo - violin/viola/cello (AMEB Grade 3-4)

• Riverina Conservatorium Orchestra - Strings (AMEB Grade 5 & above)

• Riverina Community Strings - violin/viola/cello (AMEB Grade 4 and above)

• Adult Intermediate Strings - violin/viola/cello (AMEB Grade 4 and below

GUITAR:

• Beginner Classical Guitar Ensemble - AMEB Prelim - Grade 1

• Advanced Classical Guitar (Guitarists' Feast) - AMEB Grade 5 and above

• Adult Guitar Ensemble - AMEB Grade 2 and above
