Open Come & Try Week
RCM Bands and Ensembles

February 19 - 23, 2024

We are inviting you to come along and join in one of our bands and ensembles reheareals, meet the music directors and experience what happens.

You are welcome to come and just watch or bring your instrument and have a try! 

The best memories of making music are always of making music with others, as an ensemble or in a band, you are joining a community of musicians. You make friends, share the joy of making music together, and peer teach each other.

Musical concepts such as structure, dynamics, expressive techniques, pitch, rhythm taught in lessons is given a practical application in the ensemble/band setting, where students can really start to understand the concept and apply their learning.

Below is a list of our bands and ensembles available to experience. 

If you would like to register your attendance to one of the rehearsals please email - admin@rivconmusic.nsw.edu.au or you can just turn up for the band/ensemble you would like to attend.
