Lauren Davis (violin) and Hamish Tait (piano) will continue their exploration of the Beethoven Sonatas with the hidden gem Sonata No 7 in C Minor, dedicated to Alexander I. Alexander had just been crowned as Emperor and great hopes of liberalism were connected with him. The program will also include the Six Pieces for Violin and Piano by Ottorino Respighi, elegant and charming works show the lighter side of Respighi, that will make you want to dance!
