Sam McNally will be hosting an evening here at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music which will include:

All general public, students, adults, fans and those who love contemporary and popular style piano music are most welcome. Singers and instrumentalists, teachers and performers all welcome.

Biography: Sam McNally was keyboardist with Australiaʼs premier ʻwhite soulʼ group STYLUS (Motown Records USA; Toshiba-EMI Japan); he recorded with 80ʼs super group AIR SUPPLY, and worked with the great vocalist JOHN FARNHAM, guitar genius TOMMY EMMANUEL, with TIM FINN (Split Enz/Crowded House), with guitarist/ producer LOUIE SHELTON (Seals&Croft, Boz Scaggs), Marcia Hines (Australian Idol), Richard Clapton and 1970ʼs legends Spectrum (“Iʼll Be Gone”) in 2011.

Sam performed at the Bellini, Venetian in Macau, mid-2010 with American soul/funk/R&B singer and bassist DOUG WILLIAMS; he was Musical Director for UK folk-pop legend DONOVAN at Australiaʼs “Bluesfest” in 2012, and was keyboardist for TAYLOR DAYNEʼs 2013 Australian tour.

Sam is M.D./Producer for Tokyo-based, Japanese vocal trio 'JOY2' (World Music,Health & Healing), and has recently worked with ʻThe Voiceʼ (Australia) finalists Diana Rouvas and Mitch Anderson. He recorded albums with Clint Crighton, Aaron Lyon, Joel Harrison and Linda Wood.

He has co-written many songs, and his own songs have been recorded by Stylus, Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Clapton and Louie Shelton.

Sam has recorded numerous albums of his own including the Smooth Jazz "Jubilation"(2003/05) and relaxation music "Peace Entourage" (2006). The Sam McNally Group has appeared at prestigious festivals such as Sydneyʼs Manly Jazz Festival, in 2005 and 2016, and Jakartaʼs Java Jazz in 2007.

Sam regularly produces and arranges a variety of vocal artists. He was a lecturer at the prestigious Australian Institute of Music, Sydney campus, 2013-2015, and helped set up the ʻDo Re Meʼ music school in Nanshan district, Shenzhen, China, in 016. At the 2016 ABRSM jazz piano exams in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sam scored a “High Distinction”.
